The Supreme Court is about to erode a third pillar of the left when it restores constitutional order by ruling against mandatory union fees for public unions.

Yeah, it's weird that the market for traditional university education is still so strong, with people shelling out hundreds of thousands of dollars and going into massive deft to live on campuses which offer little more than the prestige of their brand. That bubble has to burst soon.

I thought Trump was for unionized workers like steel workers and coal miners.

Are you saying Trump does not care about them? Or are you saying Trump made a mistake with his SC pick? Or are you saying the steel and aluminum tariffs have nothing to do with U.S> workers but are a bailout for those industry owners?

No of the choices seem appetizing.

Not every topic needs to be about Trump. Give it a rest.

The continued need for Academia is assured as evidenced by the above post.

Workers are free to unionize (note, this opinion would only apply to unions for government workers, not that such changes my narrative). All that would change is that one who doesn't wish to join the union would no longer be required to pay union dues as a condition of employment (again, limited to government workers). Instead, unions would actually have to work to convince all company employees that the benefits of joining the union outweigh not joining the union.

Just as the internet has broken the liberals monoply in the news business, I agree that the internet will break the education monopoly that the left owns. Maybe not as fast, but its coming. Our system is milleniums old. A teacher with a small group of dumb students. Now, with the internet, teaching programs can be rated and a variety of choices can and will be available. The old system of "going away" to college will soon die.

When it comes to discussing knowledge, research or facts and someone includes "left", "right", "conservative" or "liberal" you can be sure none are included.
