Man, wait til the right-wingers get wind of this. They are going to be pissed seeing how mad they were when Obama ran up just a little deficit. Right, am I right??

U.S. government posts $147 Billion deficit in May

The U.S. government had a $147 billion budget deficit in May, an increase of 66 percent from the same month last year as the ledger took a hit from declining revenue and higher spending, according to Treasury Department data released on Tuesday.

Some will, most won't shive a git as long as their party has the seats. It won't matter if those seats are under water.

Nope, you're never right. Voters in both parties, like myself, that put a high priority on lowering the debt, were defeated by candidates offering free candy. At least since we elected a Republican Congress in 2010 and have continued that, virtually everyone has a job.

Could ask you the same, you gave Trump credit for it and now that it’s bitting us in the arse I’m sure you’ll blame Obama.

And what do you think Trumps reaction would be if next year the economy falls off the cliff into serious recession?

It's his 2nd year, and he got his tax cuts, and we are seeing the impact. Of course the burden falls on the Congress, since they control the purse strings. GOP Congress has controlled them for the past 8 years, and the debt is what it is.
