I understand that the forced-birthers want to pretend it's not about the woman's body. Because the woman is of no import to them. They make that very clear. Only the fetus matters.
But the women whose bodies will be used to support the pregnancy think differently.

Pro abortions: we must kill the baby (care only about killing the baby)
Pro life: we must respect mother and baby (care about the life of both mother and baby)
An abortion kills the baby, right? It doesn't destroy the reproductive organs.
The decision is to have a baby, or kill it.
Not, destroy or not destroy reproductive organs.

To recap: Making something legal doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. Or do you think owing slaves was a good behavior to participate in? It was legal for hundreds of years. Using your "logic" that makes it moral, according to you.
Fetus is just a human. Changing the name doesn't make it non-human. Calling an unborn baby a fetus or a lump of cells doesn't change what it is. You are a lump of cells and nobody is suggesting that anyone has the right to kill you.
This is a mostly ignored topic. Pregnant women get all the say in the matter. The father has no voice. That doesn't seem right.
I think he does more than most realize. That's not to say he can make that ultimate decision.

Right. How does killing a baby affect a woman's reproductive organs? It doesn't. Her organs remain intact. There are no decisions made 'about' them. But it sure kills the baby.
If the anti-birth people had taken the time to watch the video they would see one man changed his mind and called his girlfriend not to go through with the abortion. He was glad he stepped up and his son is now eight.
It's no wonder we have an opioid epidemic now. The men whose wives/girlfriends had the abortion said they both started to sedate themselves with alcohol and drugs. Sad.
As do a lot of men whose wives/girlfriends don't have abortions.
I don't think you can pin the opioid epidemic on depression for insisting your SO abort.
That baby could breathe unassisted. Once born, ANYBODY can take care of a baby.
While in utero, the fetus is completely dependent on the pregnant woman.
That's not the most important factor. The most important factor is what side of the birth canal it is on. If it's on the inside you can't hear it scream, if it's on the outside you can. Plenty of the fetuses in the third trimester can breathe on their own, but while they're in the womb they can't scream. Not so you can hear them anyway.
Everything we do regarding abortions is designed to help us live with what has been done. Call it a fetus and deny it it's humanity. Make sure it is still inside the womb so if it screams we can't hear it. We may decide to kill it but we still want to be civilized about it.
