They aren't even close to alt right lol....they don't want a Muslim invasion of Norway is about their most "controversial" stance...other than that pretty normal. But then again I am talking with people who obviously find anyone against immigration to be a alt rightist so.
Other than their stance on immigration and identity politics, they seem pretty similar to US Democrats.

From the article :

While the Norwegian Nobel committee is appointed by parliament, it’s decisions are independent. Trump was nominated by two right-wing members of Norway’s Progress Party, which advocates for limited immigration and lower taxes.

Two nominations doesn't equal a slam dunk but I can hear #45 bragging about it if he did get one!
Some of you call the prize a farce when Obama got one so what will you say if Trump does win one?
Still a farce?

Fremskrittspartiet? But of course.

These guys are all about bluster and grabbing headlines, very much less about governing.

Yes, unless miraculously there is a lasting accord and peace in the Koran Peninsula. Then Trump and Moon deserve it. If not, then it is an equal sham, like giving it to people like Arafat

It's just the bare beginning of the Peace Process, and it's ludicrous to think that anything concrete and verifiable can have already occurred, one day after Singapore.

At least Kim knows that Trump won't put up with any waffling or "I didn't mean it that way" BS. He'll lower the boom on him, very publicly and stop telling the world what a great guy Kim is. And that (present) praise is Kim's main reason for going through all this: So he can lever N Korea into major-nation status without having his own people quietly poison or shoot him.

Of course, this means that Trump has had one more meeting with a bellicose national leader than Obama had had when Obama got the same Peace Prize.

Oblubber got his Nobel Peace Prize simply for being elected, and before he even took office IIRC. He had done absolutely nothing to achieve peace anywhere in the world. That is why it is seen as such a joke. I almost would call it insulting to nominate Trump for one given the background of the prize. Trump actually accomplished something. To give him the same participation trophy that Obama got is derogatory. Kind of like handing the Superbowl champs a Special Olympics prize.

Nominating Obama before he even did anything has already turned this into a participation trophy.

We don't even know the outcome of N Korea.

These people need to do something productive with their lives...

I would have to say if Obama got one for nothing I should have one too. I have also done nothing to deserve one.

Despite what the American far left is trying to get everyone to believe there are lots of people around the world supportive of Trump meeting with Kim. I can't think if a similar move that Obama made during his 8 years. The countries that were an issue for America when he took office were still an issue when he left. Then you look at places like Libya, Syria and several others that got much worse during his reign. And lets not forget paying off Iran with cash in the middle of the night. Imagine if Trump had agreed to give Kim a $1 billion in cash. How that would have been received.

And these guys in Norway are populists which are all over europe now. They are not alt right. And they are elected officials.

I'm not saying Trump should not have me with "rocketman" guess that name is outdated now .... .

But heck, the right demeaned Rodman for meeting with #rocketman, and was accused of a Obama link? They cried meeting such a dictator who kills those against him. Heck, his own brother..... now Trump and the one ..... formally known as "rocketman" is a legit world leader to invite to the White House.

My how a flip can occur. I hope it does work well. But again if Obama did this with Rocketman and met him then? O M G THE RIGHT'S UPROAR .....
