Well, Obama attacked independent nations, drone-bombed civilians, enabled Iran's nuclear program and capitulated to N. Korea at every turn. Of COURSE he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.

Trump claimed back in February he had been nominated by Japan for his work towards peace with North Korea. Reportedly there are 301 nominations. Being nominated does not mean one gets to the “ short list”.
The deciding committee does not confirm nor deny nominations and will not comment on nominations. The winner will be announced in October.

Trump doesn't need to win. He'll be crowing about this nomination, as though it was a win, even though it was made by two neo-Nazis.
