Some words of wisdom from a former PM =https://ca.news.yahoo.com/pierre-ell...223029284.html

Quote:
“There is no such thing as a model or ideal Canadian,” says Trudeau. “What could be more absurd than the concept of an ‘all-Canadian’ boy or girl? A society which emphasizes uniformity is one which creates intolerance and hate. A society which eulogizes the average citizen is one which breeds mediocrity.”

Annex it? I don't know what's there but they must have something good. Vancouver is very nice, Quebec too.

It's crazy that we're even discussing "what to do" about Canada, as if they're a problem. They're our closest neighbors, and have been a friend of the USA for centuries.

It wasn't until Trump took office that suddenly started insulting him and imposing tariffs on trade goods that caused some people to feel Canada needed to be "dealt with."

Trump's anger and hatred knows no bounds. He's offended and insulted many of our closest allies. Trump is now saying that the US media is more of an enemy than the leader of North Korea. That is the world we live in now under Trump.

Annex them. If they're part of the US, we won't need to worry about tariffs.

With that logic you may as well Annex all of Central America then you wouldnt have to worry about illegal immigrants .
Of course the rest of the world would take a dim view of America annexing sovereign nations .

Keep them as an ally, we're running out.

The option of "build a wall" because they called us a name is adolescent.
