We should seize the property of Canadians in the US and sell it. Then we can go take their oil. Really, why do we mess around with them?

Trumplings now hate Canada because tRump has told them to.

That's all it takes. They hate on command.

They're extremely compliant followers and tRump's asinine comments are amplified by Fox News and hate radio. To his Trumpling followers, his words are commandments. After all, they're right wing authoritarians, which is why they worship a lyin' lump o' lard like tRump in the first place.

It's all been scientifically studied and confirmed.

"Right-wing authoritarians are people who have a high degree of willingness to submit to authorities they perceive as established and legitimate, who adhere to societal conventions and norms, and who are hostile and punitive in their attitudes towards people who don't adhere to them. They value uniformity and are in favour of using group authority, including coercion, to achieve it.
Right-wing authoritarians want society and social interactions structured in ways that increase uniformity and minimize diversity. In order to achieve that, they tend to be in favour of social control, coercion, and the use of group authority to place constraints on the behaviours of people such as political dissidents and ethnic minorities. These constraints might include restrictions on immigration, limits on free speech and association and laws regulating moral behaviour. It is the willingness to support or take action that leads to increased social uniformity that makes right-wing authoritarianism more than just a personal distaste for difference. Right-wing authoritarianism is characterized by obedience to authority, moral absolutism, racial and ethnic prejudice, and intolerance and punitiveness towards dissidents and deviants."

A simple skimming of right wing posts in this forum over a period of a few days makes this crystal clear.

tRump has been thoroughly informed on who he's dealing with.

Yep, every Canadian I have met could teach some of us a lesson in being nice to others. For a clod like Trump to insult them is a black eye to all Americans.

Sounds like my fundamentalist Christian father. If the Bible says so, it’s the truth, and everyone who doesn’t accept it deserves to be punished.

(And yes, he’s a big fan of Fox News.)

I know, right!?! I told my husband yesterday that Canada is like the nice guy next door who takes in your mail and feeds your fish when you're gone of vacation. Why pick a fight with the neighbor who has the spare key to your house?
