Wonder if any art was sold?

When I heard there was an art fair that was open at 3 am, I was like, WHAT ????? Who goes out to buy art in the middle of the night ?

This thing had disaster written all over it from the git go.

Google the event for past photos and news articles. It's been going on for 12 years and hasn't had any other trouble for those other years. It appeared very artsy and was a pretty cool looking event with live music and performers as well as artwork displays and live artists doing their craft. It was a 24 hour event.

If only there had been a "good guy" with a gun to begin firing into the crowd.

There was. He took out the murderer who had just been released from prison.

I know. I read the article.

I didn't read the whole thread, though. I just think today is "good guy with gun" day here on the forum.

I've noticed more of a pattern of "wild unfounded assumptions" than "good guy with gun" comments.

Plenty of sponsors, including BoA. This was the 12th annual event. Art included music.

I don’t believe alcohol was sold inside the event, thus the party in the parking lot.

Reportedly, LE was was in the process of shutting the event down “because the mood of the attendees was rapidly changing”.

Reportedly, there were FB posts warning people to stay away due to known tensions among gangs.

Right?

So we know where most Dems stand on gun control, we should be in good shape huh?

This is the Trenton murder map. Same story as any other urban area in the US, poverty areas have more...wealthy areas have less...guns available everywhere.

Homicide Watch Trenton | Mark every death. Remember every victim. Follow every case.

The problem is that the mayor can get away with blaming guns and so that's his excuse.

Much easier than addressing root problems.
