He didn’t attack the Mexican people despite what CNN and the liberal media says . He was saying that criminals are coming here illegally and causing crime and we should secure our border . Which is basically what Bill Clinton stated years back when he spoke about illegal alien crime .

I live in Central Mexico. As I warned on CD over a year ago, Mexico will repay trump times a hundred, for his loathsome attacks on the Mexican people. At that time I said that MX will open the floodgates of Central Americans, rather than stop them at MX's southern border, which they had been doing as an ally of the US. Mexico also used to grant asylum to many of these same people.
Well, trump's chickens have come home to roost. And this is just a downpayment for his stupid insults to Mexicans. When AMLO takes office later this year, this s*** storm really hits the fan.

Every year people come to the United States seeking protection because they have suffered persecution or fear that they will suffer persecution due to:
Race
Religion
Nationality
Membership in a particular social group
Political opinion
If you are eligible for asylum you may be permitted to remain in the United States. To apply for Asylum, file a Form I-589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal, within one year of your arrival to the United States. There is no fee to apply for asylum.
"Lack of better opportunities" is not a cause to grant asylum.
PS - my grandparents came here legally.
