California is not included on the list since it's only been legal there since Jan. 1. But my guess is most of the states on that list, don't have asset forfeiture revenue anywhere near those amounts.

Its pretty strange world when law enforcement and the drug cartels want the same thing!

Collusion should be very clear to anyone by now.

It's legal here in WA, but the war on pot goes on. The taxes were set so high that there is still a black market out there. Actually there is arguably more incentive now for gov't to do these busts, since now it represents a threat to their pot tax revenue stream. And what the heck--now they could in theory sell the seized pot to licensed dealers instead of having to pay to dispose of it, making even more $$$ for the state.


The below are from a very quick google search, all from the past 7 months. So there's still plenty of asset theft for police to pursue. I guess it shows sometimes you can have your cake and eat it too.
