I'd think that even Trump would have a difficult time coming up with a more ignorant argument than this.
One can always count on a liberal to 'counter' with pulling out one of their epithets instead of having the knowledge or experience to actually argue a different point. Good to see nothing changes!
What a bunch of baloney. The left is acting like there was no poverty until Donald Trump came along. Typical liberal hysteria.
Here's an idea -- let's deport all the illegals that cost the US billions every year and help out our own citizens. They deserve it more than the illegal migrants do.
I wonder how many articles about this report point out that the statistics are from 2016:
"The statistics Alston used in the report are from 2016, before Trump took office. On Twitter, Alston said the numbers from 2017 — the first year of Trump's presidency — will not be available until September. Alston called poverty a "structural problem," and said the Republican tax plan passed into law in December would only worsen it."

Somehow, poverty in America is Trump's fault. As if we didn't have a different prez before him.
Of course it is! Don't you know that the way out of poverty is increases in public spending on items such as food stamps and welfare?!
