Evil? Perhaps. Dealt with harshly? Depends. Did they break a law? Or just say something folks didnt like. You're the one trying to make this into something violent and bad sounding.
But what if the shouting us down at restaurants, theaters and sporting events doesn't have it's desired effect? What if it doesn't change how we think? What then? Surely good people that care about democracy and freedom can't just idly sit by allowing racist, homophobic, bigoted, regressive Nazis to spread our hate, can you? Something must be done to stop us and if shouting us down doesn't work, then harsher methods must be applied, right?
Based solely on ones political ideology. Show me numerous examples of conservatives shouting down and harassing leftist politicians at a restaurant, theater or sporting event, simply because they think differently than we do. You can't because we don't, and again, if a conservative did, he/she would be condemned swiftly and immediately. But again, we conservatives are evil and evil must be dealt with....harshly, correct?

People have an inherent right in this country to protest. And nowhere in the Constitution does it say it has to be convenient for those being protested. It surprises me that it's the conservatives who seem to be forgetting that these days. I would suggest that you get a little thicker skin and deal with it. You can't stop it.
It's more than a lack of repercussions, progressives control Hollywood, media and education. Their violence and hatred is not only not condemned, it's routinely validated and encouraged.
It is a system. Planned, organized and carried out.
