Do you actually believe you're free?

That's the best part of being an anarchist: just don't commit aggression and you're ok.

A jack-of-all-trades Renaissance Man lives an existence of non-aggression as his time on earth intertwines with countless others.

A simple man who sits in a chair all day who receives voluntary charity (redundant...just elucidating the point) to get by also lives a life of non-aggression...never hurting a soul.

Both pass the muster.

In my experience libertarians are nothing more than conservatives with a new coat of paint. The Cato institute was founded by the Koch brothers. They propose freedom from the law on drugs, immigration, abortion and sound often more like classic liberals. They just despise taxes and regulations because they stand in the way of unlimited monetary gain.

But, libertarianism works no better than communism because of human failing. If you get rich, while those around you do not, you are going to become suspicious of the others and move to create laws which protect you income. It’s happened since the first agrarian economies began to form and there’s no reason to think we as humans have evolved away from that.

Instead of getting dew eyed over political philosophy, read histories. They will instruct you on the most probable outcomes in most situations.
