A good lawyer could argue it was suicide by cop. He ran in front of the bullet to avoid going to jail all the while knowing he couldn't outrun a bullet. He was willing to bet his life that he would be allowed to escape punishment for his crime. He lost his bet.
When someone is murdered in the commission of a crime those involved in the crime are often held accountable for that murder also, even if they did not personally kill the victim. Someone who murders themselves is normally guilty of suicide.

The kid was running away. He was shot in the back by the cowardly cop.

The charge is murder. The kid was killed during the commission of a crime. He has accountability for the murder being involved in the crime where someone is murdered. The murder just happens to be suicide also for the kid. Case dismissed !!!

Its going to be very difficult to get a conviction on murder. It would have been better to charge manslaughter.

Amen. The cop was in no eminent danger. There is zero justification for him gunning this kid down. None.

It was cowardly, and is exactly the kind of thing an officer should be trained not to do.

He deserves to be prosecuted for murder, because that is exactly what this was.

The "kid" was in a car used in a shooting. Inside the car were 9 spent shells. The car had bullet holes in it. Its reported that the kid had residue from firing the gun on his hands.

At what point are you comfortable with just letting someone run free who potentially just discharged a firearm in public multiple times? He was clearly a possible danger to the neighborhood he was about to run through.

They purposely over-charged the officer. Murder requires intent and malice aforethought. The jury will never convict him on murder. Criminally negligent homicide at best.

The kid was black. That’s the picture of the cop. Sheesh.

These types of knee jerk assumptions and responses are why we, as a nation, are currently experiencing such dischord.

Please do not disrupt the process of people vomiting rage to prove a point. It goes against the narrative.
