Basically the same as what Trump is saying . Yet Trump is called a “racist “ .

“PRESIDENT BILL CLINTON: “All Americans, not only in the States most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country.

The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers.

That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards, by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before, by cracking down on illegal hiring, by barring welfare benefits to illegal aliens.”

https://gop.com/flashback-democrats-...migration-rsr/

Senator Obama talking about the need for strong border security and how illegals keep wages down for legal Americans .

Because many people hate President Trump, and no matter what come out of his mouth, they despise the man, so anything President Trump says, it is looked on with distain, and seen if it can be twisted or miss-interpreted.

The fringe left has always wanted open borders, but now feel secure enough to call for it openly where they felt they couldn't criticize fellow Democrats on the issue in the past. The disturbing part is that the Democrat establishment is going along with it now.

Bill Clinton wanted to build a wall because during the 90s, it's the GOP that wanted open orders. Now the GOP is Trump populism, they changed their platform.

Which is why the claim that Republicans/Trumps are racist because they want a border wall and tough immigration laws they can’t be taken seriously.

But I doubt even 1% of Dems even know about these things Bill Clinton and Obama said .

Especially the younger ones .

If Trump doesn't want his words to be twisted or mis-interpreted, maybe he needs to start taking English lessons. There is hispanic people on my jobsites who make more coherent sense than he does.

We know. And agree with the premise. No one but anarcho-capitalists believe in open borders.

It's the method and rhetoric that's at issue. And not addressing the root cause. American policy in Central America a generation ago destabilized the region. Now the chickens have literally come home to roost.

Fun fact, no he did not graduate from Fordham. He transferred to Penn when his daddy bought his way in. And he went to Wharton undergrad, he does not have a Wharton MBA.
