Thanks, Republican voters.

It wasn't the voters. It was the GOP, Fox News & the Israel lobby. In 2008 Paul was running 3rd in the primaries & had just taken 2nd in Pennsylvania when Fox refused to allow him in their debate. Another time the Israel lobby kept him out of an important debate they were hosting. In this TV society, if you can't be in the debates, you don't have a chance. Then in 2012 the GOP rigged the delegate rules after-the-fact, to screw him & refused to let him even attend the GOP convention.

That's part of why I love Trump so much. The GOP tried to do the same thing to Trump & he shoved it right up their hoohaws. Now he's running that NeoCon/Never-Trump trash right out of the party. When Bush, McCain, Romney, Hillary Clinton, the Koch Bros & all of corporate America align against someone, it's a safe bet that person's doing something right.

I'm well aware of the fact that the GOP outright stole 2012 from Dr. Paul. It's what led me to become a full-blown anarchist.

But if you think Trump is kicking out the neocons, you're solely mistaken. He nominated John Bolton, FFS.

Like usual, Dr. Paul knows what's up:

Thanks, I was really looking forward to the next "Trump starts nuclear war" or "Trump ends social security" threads but this is a nice change of pace with regards to stupid.

Some countries such as New Zealand have gone further stopping any military ships docking unless they declare they are nuclear free, which is something the US Navy won't do.

If Germany say, wants us OUT of their country they would tell us to pack up and leave whether NATO agreed or not.

To think otherwise is very foolish, IMO.

If you leave NATO then you would have no right to retain any bases, as you are merely classed as NATO Visiting forces.

Trump is threatening to leave and close the bases, and Germany would most likely just form a closer alliance with other European countries such as France, which has no US bases.

The only country in Western Europe which might allow the US to retain some bases is the UK and this would be under the five eyes agreement rather than NATO.

Five Eyes - Wikipedia

UKUSA Agreement - Wikipedia

In terms of the EU they have always been very critical of US Spy bases in Europe and would jump at the chance to close them.
