You missed the point entirely. Nearly all temperatures everywhere are hitting records. It is not a localized event.

Republicans not only want to deny it but they want to try to force you to shut up about it.

Florida Republican Gov. Rick Scott’s ban on climate change term extended to other state agencies

Revelation 16

[1] And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
[2] And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
[3] And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
[4] And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
[5] And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.
[6] For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
[7] And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.
[8] And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
[9] And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Please stick to your talking point or I lose interest.
It is both, as the world heats up it causes the climate to change....

I agree with you.

right and in 1895 an article was printed in the times where the prediction was that if we didnt do something drastic then in 30 years the climate would be irrevocably on the path to a run away green house situation, and that never happened.

i have posted this graph before from the greenland ice cores;

as you can see there is a definite cooling trend over the last 10,000 years

We should have stood in the Paris Accords. It was a small step but one in the right direction.

I do not have a sunny view of humankind as much as appealing to mutual self-interest. It is in our interest to solve this issue, or at this point, contain it.
I have a very sunny view. I like warming. There are no issues that we cannot adapt to. We can transfer all coastal cities inland, creating endless jobs and wealth for 100 years or more. Coastal cities are obsolete and need rebuilding anyway. Citizens of island nations that are too low can relocate to the mainland. There is no compelling reason to insist on living on a low lying island. Move. Or we can innovate and figure out how to live IN the ocean with floating cities.

We are NOT going to stop using fossil fuels. We are NOT going to revert to being primitive agrarian tribes. We are NOT going to roll back the industrial revolution.

We are better off going extinct if we can't continue to move forward. Global warming will continue. Some sea rise will continue. It will have many positive effects as well as negative effects. We will work with the positive effects to advance human flourishing. New areas of the northern hemisphere will become arable and this will increase food production for a world population of 15 to 20 billion.

The keys to all of this are less government, more freedom, and more laissez-faire Capitalism. The market will take care of the rest.

Onward and upward, not backward.
