I've gotten that "suspicious person" call before. I was on a college campus riding my bicycle at night. No stealing, no vandalizing cars. No peaking into cars. Just riding my bicycle through campus. Someone called the police. There were drunk students around at midnight, and somehow me riding my bike rose suspicion. While that was a rarity, it was disturbing for me. I talked to another man about this. He said that if saw someone out that late, he would call the police.

There are some Black people who don't like other Blacks and will treat them poorly. And remember this. Some persons of foreign Black descent look down on American Blacks.
