There is nothing more "law and order" than unnecessarily ripping an infant from its mothers arms and locking it in a converted Wallmart for weeks or months to prove a political point regarding border crossings. You must be proud of yourself.

Why didn't they seek asylum in Mexico then as it was the first relatively safe country they crossed? No one is separating kids from their parents at our border when these asylum seekers present themselves at a legal port of entry. It's only those who crossed our border illegally. What part of that aren't you getting?

It wasn't unnecessary as kids can't go to jail with their parents. American parents certainly can't go to jail with their kids. "Ripping"? lol, the melodramatics of you liberals crack me up. An empty Walmart is just a building it's not a prison or a lock up and these kids are being well cared for. Actually it was this administration that came out and said it was changing it’s policy to use child separation as a deterrent, not the liberals (of which I am not one) using children to gain sympathy.
Employers are importing people for relatively unskilled jobs - waitresses, cleaners, cooks...
Walls will do nothing to deter that.
No, most of these illegals are not being "imported" by the employers. They are jumping our border all on their own hoping to find work or whatever unlawful activity they are coming here for. Walls don't work? Why do we have them around our homes and businesses then? Why is there a wall around the White House? Do I have to post those links once again showing how the good walls in place already have been a huge deterrent?
