Dunno. How much did they get soaked for for the years of Benghazi hearings that never turned into nothing?

Deny deny deny. You can't run from the truth and proof.
Oooh... they bought Facebook ads.

"Many of the ads, placed by Russians posing as Americans, didn't endorse a specific candidate but spread inflammatory messages on sensitive subjects such as immigration and race to amplify fault lines in American life, targeting users from specific backgrounds and tight races in key states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Virginia."

So basically what CNN does with a touch of microtargeting.

Only those with half a brain would be stupid enough to buy into this nonsense. Comey, Mueller, Rosenstein, these three stooges need to be in prison.

Sorry, bad grammar. That turned into nothing. Hate when I do that.

How do you explain that the timestamps on the files showed that they were transferred to a local drive rather than across a network? The DNC server hack was an inside job. Someone (probably Seth Rich) plugged a USB drive in, downloaded the files, and then passed them on.

I hope what ever evidence the FBI has is better than the 17 intelligence agencies had when they presented that it was a known hack that the Russians use (and everyone else for that matter) and it happened at Moscow GRU work hours (like no one else hacks something during 8AM-5PM Moscow time.)

This whole thing has been a ridiculous dog and pony show. Bread and Circuses for the masses. I was hoping for something more concrete than "the Russians did it." For those of us who are professional IT peeps, this whole thing is about as credible as that Angelina Jolie movie about hackers.
Desperately trying to keep your Seth Rich conspiracy alive? Quit lying about the files being transferred over anything but a network, as you have zero proof of it. Transfer rate is not proof.

So why did the Senate come out with a statement that the Russians interfered with our election to help Trump win?

Yes they did place ads to sew discourse and place doubt in our democracy. They also placed ads and leaked democratic emails to help Trump and damage Clinton. I had a friend vote for Trump because of the negative ads and leaked emails. As soon as Trump was elected and came out with Fake News, she acknowledged that she had made a mistake.

She is one of many that may have voted for Clinton but was swayed by Russia's attempt to help Trump, especially in the swing states.

Yes, to the Senate, Facebook ads constitute tampering. The source of the Democratic emails is yet to be proven. However, no one has denied their authenticity. Your friend should consider that fact when feeling the fool.

Not deflecting from Trump (because I have known he was con-man since the 80's), but if you are worried about Russian influence and having control over our government, you should really ask why the last administration (including Hillary as Secretary of State) OK'd the sale of 1/6th of our Uranium production to the Russians.

We keep getting the same type of candidate choices; Corrupt Family Dynasty or Corrupt Business Man. All the while our politicians go into office with moderate incomes and come out worth millions of dollars. We have a much bigger issue on our hands. I would love to see how much Mueller's or Comey's net-worth escalated over the last 10 years. Everyone goes in an idealist and comes out a swamp rat.

Anywho, the question remains...

What makes you think the DNC servers were hacked?

What makes you think Russians (assuming) did it?
Actually it was Hillary's pal, John Podesta, who fell for a phishing email that got the Wikileaks hackers into the DNC servers. They sent him an email that looked like Google saying to change his password. Of course it asked for his current password before he could change it. The idiot fell for that.

That was the beginning of the Wikileaks divulging Hillary's emails where she mentions all kinds of things. As a result of that, she was subpoenaed to turn over her server to the FBI. Instead she hand-selected and copied about half of them and gave them those. The rest (some 30,000) that were also on the server, and her Blackberries, etc. she had destroyed with hammers and Bleach-Bit because they were "personal."

It was THAT event that prompted Donald Trump to joke about Hillary during a speech that if the Russians are so smart (to be behind the Wilileaks DNC hack) maybe they can find Hillary's 30,000 missing emails. That's just a logical joke we were ALL thinking at the time.

It was that joke Trump made, about a very serious crime Hillary Clinton committed in destroying state evidence, that prompted the Democrats to investigate Trump for "collusion with the Russians."

And now they are saying that the Russians they just arrested started their "fake news vendetta" the same day Trump said that. Yeah, right. How convenient for Mueller. But still NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION BY TRUMP.
