Most people probably don't either including myself. But a president should study up before he goes to another country so he at least sounds intelligent. My son can name every country in the world and tell you facts about each of them, but he was a history major.

It’s fine for you or I not to care, but our president should at least brush up to know while he is visiting them. That is literally part of being a politician.

It matters because they are our ally, and knowing who and what is part of our alliances is literally a big part of the president’s job.
