The CBO report that you linked to doesn't say anything about "anchor babies." The report specifically refers to "DACA recipients" who are not anchor babies. DACA recipients were born outside of the United States.
Anchor babies are babies that were born inside the United States to two undocumented immigrants.
If you want to debate stuff at least review the data you are linking to and read it before hand.

Not all anchor babies are born to folks with illegal status. Anchor baby refers to anyone who is not a citizen who has a child in the USA. We moved here and had green cards, I could have had a baby here and they would have been an anchor baby...granted US citizenship. For the record, I chose to have my last child in Canada -- it was free....safe....easy.....lol....and then we moved to the USA.

Your situation is understandable and completely different from the millions and millions of illegal aliens from the third-world who come here just to have baby after baby because they think having their yearly anchor baby will ensure they won't be deported.

Why would even a liberal American want thousands and thousands of dollars of their property taxes and other taxes going to educate anchor babies, when they could be saving for a rainy-day or retirement.
Luckily, state and local taxpayers pay a vast majority of the education expenses that these illegal aliens that have made pro-creating anchor babies a career to extent they have 3rd world public services with socialist-sky high property taxes.
Twice the number of children to educate means at least twice as education expenditure needed and then they also have to build lots of schools with expensive bonds to keep up with the tremendous amounts of anchor babies.

Actually, they are only deemed citizens by a PC policy not based on the wording in the 14th Amendment. They've earned the term anchor baby because their parents think they can anchor themselves on to our country by giving birth on our soil. It almost succeeded via Obama's DAPA program but was shot down by the courts.
