Why would he want sanctions inconveniencing Russian businesses, workers and investing class? None of this is good for Russia, but Putin knows his people will get by, and probably develop as dislike for the US.
The US congresses approval rating is in the low teens, 13-14%, who the hell cares what they think about anything ? They are a bunch of do nothing, know nothing , worth nothing idiots. Their entire existence is about keeping their job. Their opinion on anything is useless. Take our IL. senators for example, durbin & duckworth don't have the IQ of a toad. Yet they are featured on main stream media constantly. And chuck shumer is even lower than them.

Right? Because look whats happening as the Dems are dying. Bernie, Warren, and now the wacko Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez....its all down hill from here. I'm hopeful that the left and right extreme wackos take over and clear a path for reasonable 3rd and 4th parties.
