It was mainly during the conflict where Russia was trying to invade the Ukraine.

Around the time Putin put out a warning to the U.S. "Don't Mess with Nuclear Russia"

You hear about Russian jets buzzing U.S. planes and heard about sanctions etc.

Really felt like we were gonna hit WW3 at the time. Many people were calling it Cold War 2, or saying that the Cold War never really ended.

With the talks of Russia hacking us, isn't that a Cold War tactic?

I'm an Aerospace Engineer working in Defense since 2000. In my world the Russians and the Chinese were never not our adversary(Mainly Russians as the Chinese seem to copy the stuff we created 10 years ago). Regardless of what politician is in office we are constantly improving our capabilities to counter theirs.

And i've been working in cyber-security since 2006, and the Russians are are very much so a threat.

Surely you're aware that Russians constantly seek proprietary information in aerospace, through hacking?

Read Daniel Ellsburg's book, Doomsday Machine: Confessions of a Nuclear War Planner.

One of the most disturbing books I've ever read. Not only did the Cold War never end... Nuclear War on an unimaginable scale is still on a hair trigger. That may sound like hyperbole... it's not. Our 'defense' strategy since the 1950's has been unadulterated madness.
