What does "verified as accurate mean"? You keep trying to dream up reasons why the FISA application wasn't valid and you are falling flat on your face.

Though Trump and his allies have slammed the document as "fake" and "phony" — and while it does contain some dubious allegations that have not been corroborated — both the FBI and the Senate Intelligence Committee are using it as a "roadmap" in their investigations and have verified a number of its claims.

Nunes on Friday said he had "an obligation to the American people" to release the memo, which he said showed "FISA abuse" by the DOJ and the FBI. He added that the Page wiretap was "outrageous" and based on "salacious information paid for by a political campaign."

But the dossier was not the sole factor that prompted the FBI to launch its investigation or submit a FISA application targeting Page. To be sure, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday that Page was on the radar of US counterintelligence officials since at least 2013 — more than three years before he joined the Trump campaign.

Yes or no? Stop avoiding a very simple question.

Yes or no question, was the judge not informed that the dossier was from a political group that could be attempting to discredit Trump as Nunes claimed in his memo.

No. The judge was not informed that the dossier was from a political group that could be attempting to discredit Trump and that it was not verified, until the dossier was leaked to the public. Then it appeared on the 3rd request as a footnote.

Sen. Burr came out today and said the request was valid. He also said it should have never been released. Nunes has hurt the country.

He saw the entire document and has run his committee in a very professional manner.

You don't actually know that, you are making assumptions based on what you want to believe.

We can't know the answer to that. I don't understand why that is so hard to grasp. The sources for the dossier are redacted, as stated by Steele. If they disclose their sources, what do you think will happen to those people if there is any truth to this? The judges have seen the redactions, we have not. Steele himself has stated that not all of the dossier is accurate, but much of it is and that is why they needed to investigate it further. That is how intelligence works, it wont all be accurate and you have to investigate to find the truth.

Not only are the 4 Republican judges on it, as are Obama and Hillary, but also the CIA leaders, the Russian Desk, and the Mi6 agents. Do you understand why your guys credibility is in the ditch? You're grasping at straws trying to create this "deep state" or "shadow government."

Despite what the tin hat wearers say, Steele has a pretty darn good reputation for investigating. He led the investigation on the FIFA corruption and he has had a large role in anti-Russian intelligence in Eastern Ukraine and Crimea.

Do you think Comey and McCabe should know to answer to that?

In June 2017 testimony, Comey described information in the Steele dossier as "salacious and unverified".

Or this: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/b...ey-got-nothing

"McCabe was asked to point to anything in the dossier that he knew to be true. McCabe noted that the dossier said, accurately, that the unpaid, low-level Trump foreign policy adviser Carter Page visited Moscow in July 2016.

McCabe's questioners were not impressed. Page's Moscow trip was reported in the press at the time it happened; the simple fact that he was in Russia was not a revelation. Lawmakers reminded McCabe that Page's presence in Moscow was long established and then asked again: Was there anything more in the dossier that McCabe now knows to be true? McCabe, according to sources, said he did not know how to answer the question."
