Only problem is, WITHOUT EXCEPTION THIS ALWAYS LEADS TO MASS MURDER OF THOSE SAME CAPITALISTS.... and the definition of who is an "oppressor" always gets expanded so that even those of modest and middle class means end up getting slaughtered.

The redistribution of the means of production by the Communists is ALWAYS by force and ALWAYS results in mass death.

WITHOUT EXCEPTION.

**** the stated *intentions* of the Communists. You know an ideology by its fruits. And every time - EVERY TIME - there's mass murder, genocide. More than the Nazis could dream of killing from Russia to China and beyond.

So take your Communism, of anyone dumb enough to think it's morally better than fascism. It's not. Demonstrably so.

STOP. the poster said socialist, NOT communist, hopefully you understand why that matters, if not get googling and learn about the various methods of governing we have around the world.

This is why you should have stayed in school.

What makes you think that liberals believe in a state directed economy?

I agree that intellectuals can be absurdly wrong when it comes to putting theories to the test. As far as your top statement is concerned stop letting Fox define Socialism.

You may want to elaborate just a bit...

Technically, it is. The people vote and elect representatives, which pretty much fulfills the definition of a democratic republic. According to Wikipedia: “Elections in North Korea are held every four-to-five years for the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA), the country's national legislature, and every four years for Local People's Assemblies. All seats are won by the Democratic Front for the Reunification of the Fatherland.”

So the North Koreans only have one party to vote for.

Heck, we’ve got TWICE as many!

some of the posters claiming here Nazi party = socialism MUST enroll in some history course or go back to high school and try to read your damn books this time. No wonder you all think Trump is a good guy and you voted for him.

“I say again”...it’s called nuance, and no one is falling for your false equivalency.
