So what's the big deal? This isn't exactly 1978 anymore.
At the top level of college football (NCAA D-I FBS), the first time an openly gay player was in a game was in 2017 (Scott Frantz, Kansas State). There have been no such players in the NFL to date (unless you count Michael Sam's appearances in preseason games with the Rams in 2014).
Until last year, there had never been an openly gay player in an NCAA Division I FBS game. Kim might be the second or third such player if he gets on the field this season.
(Some of you may remember Michael Sam of Missouri; he came out to his teammates in his senior year, but not publicly until after his final game.)
I know that. I just have high standards for what belongs in this forum, and what should be posted in other forums. My personal belief is that unless it involves a political or controversial figure, or we are discussing larger social implications, that an individual coming out does not meet this standard. I would be glad to read about it in sports or current events, and I think it's great that Kim wants to help others who are struggling with being themselves. But I'm not sure this is really the best place for it.
You assume gay men are attracted to every man they see. Your assumption is wrong. They have preferences just like straight people.
Using your twisted thinking, lets have men and women shower together.
There was a gay man who got carried away on an internet site one night at midnight.
He said........" the sight of a male's package turns me on "
Another poster said,,,,,,,," you better not get turned on looking at my teen son"
He said......" I have the right to use the men's bathroom and I'll look at any male's package I want and get turned on. Nothing you can do about it "
