An upgraded and enforced eVerify might provide some results but may well make the situation worse by pushing more people to the black market rather than out of the country. There is also little probability that a tough eVerify will pass. May well be able to tighten it some but the "knowingly employed" language will likely remain.

Again the present path will eventually solve part of the problem as the earlier Hispanics age out of the work force. But it appears they may well be replaced by over stayers. And the over stays may prove more difficult.

As I said, the increased security keeps the 11 million from becoming 20 million. If we were to ease back on border enforcement or get a pro-illegal President, the number coming would explode. Especially since they have discovered the "asylum" end run around the law and Mexico's new President is openly encouraging migration north and calling it a human right.

eVerify would be very effective. The "black market" might grow somewhat but cannot accomodate 11 million, as you would say that is "simply too many".

I think the visa over stayers would be much easier to deal with because we have a record of them on entry. Not so with the border jumpers.

Oh, please - if you want to complain about wasted money, go talk to your alt-right buddies who just gave a huge tax break to the ultra-rich.

As for the rest of your post, have even read what the alt-right trolls on this forum post about blue states all the time? One moment they are complaining about salaries being too high in such states, and the next about housing prices being too high, proving a complete lack of basic understand of economics. If you want two-faced, fact-free flip-flopping, just watch the right.

The right does not get to lecture anyone on hypocrisy until they ditch Trump, theocracy, bigotry, and the constant boot-licking of the rich while pretending to be "fiscally conservative."
