Good. That means my vote will always outweigh yours since you don't participate, and all you can do is to grumble but do nothing about it.

Of course, there's an old saying - if you don't vote, don't squawk.

Your vote matters little if at all
I get to complain because I didnt put them there, you did.

There is another saying I prefer- "Don't vote, it only encourages the bastards."

Under normal circumstances, a pregnancy isn't unhealthy - it is, in fact, the body working exactly like it's supposed to. Bad example, there.

Anyway, what a weird hill to die on.

Oh, you did your bit for those in power. Quite a bit, actually. They love good little go-alongers.

Not voting isn't protest, it's surrender.

The Greeks had a word for those so engaged in their own matters that they refused to shoulder the responsibility of running the polis. And that word was "idiōtēs".

If you don't pick someone, someone will be chosen for you.

As I stated in OP, pads, plugs and toilet paper clean up a mess! Not medically necessary.
I'm pretty sure that if you left that menstrual blood in your pants and didn't have something to absorb it, you could wind up with a UTI or skin infection, no?

Medically necessary.

as I already mentioned, I go out of my way to avoid interaction with the state as much as possible. This is not "going along". If you dont attend a catholic church does that mean you are going along with Catholicism?
And yes good citizen, governments have been conning and demagoguing the masses into participation since before the days of "the greeks"

Believe me, I am not female bashing. I just think that we are too burdened by Federal regulations and laws

http://thehill.com/homenews/house/39...es-with-health

I understand why this reached congress, but isn't;' this a state's right's issue? Sales tax vs no sales tax?

I, obviously, never had a need for these items, but I do have a wife, daughter and granddaughter.

I'm a pharmacist

Yes, cough and cold products and many other products are "health" related and are available on FHSs. Isn't it a stretch to claim menstrual products are health related? Plugs and pads are no different than toilet paper. A necessary product to clean up a mess.

Birth control, diaphragms (yes they are still rarely sold), menstrual cramp meds, UTI OTC meds, etc are health related and should be covered. (BTW, Viagra, two tubs, etc are not even covered by insurance! If an insurance company does cover them, it's +/-6 a months with a high co-pay)

This is a political CYA in response to Ashley Judd being a "nasty woman" at the anti-Trump rally. IMHO, she's still a nasty woman!

That said, I am happy for all the young women that this helps, but it's still wrong

I don't know how a medically-trained man like you can think that bleeding is not a health matter.
