You honestly can’t see why anyone supports the president? Do you not pay attention to any economic news or data? Do you not support cracking down on drug makers or making better trade deals for our country? We are human beings supporting real policies we agree with. You disagree but that doesn’t make us cultists.
In most cases when Trump supporters say things like "making better trade deals," it's not clear whether they actually understand the economic ramifications of his actions, or whether they're just parroting his talking points because he plays for the same team.
But let's assume there are actual logic-based reasons for supporting Trump's policies. By supporting him in spite of his lies, bullying, and remarkable talent for surrounding himself with criminals, you've made the proverbial "deal with the devil."
I could muster a shred of respect for Trump supporters who are self-aware enough to admit that they've made a deal with the devil. The ones who insist that Trump is an upstanding guy are the cultists.
He will wait until just before he leaves office. Then the political backlash won't matter, and he will still be able to thumb his nose at the law like a spoiled child.
He is going to jail unless he flees to Russia
