There are now reports that Paul Manafort was trying to cut a deal with Mueller in the upcoming trial. Talks have stalled due to concerns Mueller brought up. However, the talks haven’t ended but we now know Mueller has all the cards. Should be interesting to see what Manafort will say, and how badly Trump will continue to feel for Manafort if the plea bargain is successful.
Cohens actions make it clear that Mueller knows everything. He doesn't need to make a deal. I suspect Manafort is finding out something similar. Because when folks dont flip first, those sweetheart deals are being given to someone else in order to convict them.
