Zip. Zilch. Zero. The judge was biased in their favor and they still couldn't get the job done. If it comes back not guilty, then the prosecution has some potential avenues for appeal.
In most circumstances, the prosecution cannot appeal an acquittal. If a person is found not guilty, that's it for those charges.

And if Manafort is found guilty, even if the judge is regularly chewing out the prosecution, he can appeal if he believes the judge committed errors. It's not just a matter of the judge showing bias to one side or another, although that can, in some circumstances, be grounds for an appeal.

The judge apologized for that incident yesterday, and told the jury to ignore his comments on it as he was mistaken.

I would actually suggest, the draining of the swamp is moving in reverse. Backwashing, from my maintaining a pool, doesn't quite fit... However, in DJT's administration and GOP Congress they have BACKWASHED so many legitimately well documented swamp creatures, who has spent billions over the years lobbying so they can "Game the System". DJT place pretty well his whole administration with "SWAMP Creatures"!!!

DC ( including Congress & Administration) has at this point maddest so swampy.. The only left is to PURGE whoever and wherever possible. Gerrymandering will continue to maintain many swampy types... HOWEVER, thanx to the Citizens, the voters may very well THE DUMP miserable, bought and paid for Candidates for office !

Thankfully, there appears to be a whole host of younger " New Blood" reps running ( including State/Local elections) so hopefully, for America's sake things will be CORRECTED!!

The judge was wrong, and admitted it when they showed him the transcript where he had agreed to let the witness be in the courtroom.

He was big enough to admit his mistake, apologize, and instruct the jury to disregard what he said. Good on him.

The judge's behavior was beneath the bench. He should be fired. Ellis only apologized because he knew his behavior would be questioned.

Why should we care? The case has ZERO to do with Russia or Russian collusion its got EVERYTHING to do with hiding money he should have paid cash on. I hope President Trump pardons him because this is all a ploy by Mueller and his 17 angry democrats to get Manafort to flip and lie about Trump and Russia...Trump should pardon him and give Mueller and the deep state a big middle finger!

They aren't whining about JUST that they have whined the entire trial and the judge keeps putting them back in their place.

Then why didn't you say that? Your title is misleading.
