Though I'm not sure the statists will like this part:

Parents would be able to draw from their Social Security benefits early under a paid family leave bill to be introduced Thursday by Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Rep. Ann Wagner, R-Mo.
You have permission to get back the money stolen from you? Eek. Borderline sanity there.
Its YOUR money. Its letting you and me take the money from our SS accounts and use it for paid family leave...not a bad idea considering most don't think SS will be around when we retire.
We dont have accounts to draw from. Once our money is stolen it is immediately redistributed to someone else.
And lol @ the state "letting" us have some of our own money back. You might say Rubio is a generous crook to propose such an idea

The money that is stolen from our checks for SS goes to people currently receiving SS. It's a Ponzi scheme; that money is gone forever.

Today, having a child can be an income shock matched only by college tuition or a down payment on a home."
ironically two other market sectors that govt policy (and its central bank) has made more expensive.
This scheme is a good example of how government breaks your leg and then hands you a crutch.
