Careful what you wish for. In a certain area close to me police have all but stopped patrolling a certain area that is a know bad area. Nobody ever sees anything. Nobody ever wants to out a criminal. It has become an area that does not want outside interference and police only arrive if a major crime, ie, gunshots or death occurs.
BIG UGH. What is it with these Social Justice Warriors? They take to the streets to protest anything.
Here is an idea. Why don't these "activists" go to these neighborhoods where the red zones are? Park their cars and walk around with their signs complaining about racist cops and see what happens.
Are these people so dim witted that they cannot understand that if the crimes ARE happening in a predominantly black neighborhood and NOT happening in a predominantly white persons hood then guess where the Police go.
I suppose if the cops only patrolled the "safer" white neighborhood then these "activists" will complain that the cops have turned their backs on the black folks and they don't care.
I don't normally wish bad things to happen to stupid people but maybe if these "activists" were to become victims of some crimes they might change their lousy opinions of the Police might change.
They already have, and yet, they persist. You cannot fix stupid.
Map on the wall gets a push pin to represent each violent crime.
Clusters of pins are an obvious clue as to where to direct policing energy.
Notice how the pins are not equally distributed across the map.
What would you do if you were charged with protecting and serving ???????
Of course an activist would go insane, as they are enthusiastically willing to sacrifice innocent lives to forward their political agenda.
