Not surprising to me, around here, its common knowledge that many police officers 'swap' seized drugs for sexual favors.

Even they realize how valuable these drugs are... heroin is more expensive than gold!! ($120-150 per gram).

It's sad anytime anyone kills themselves with these drugs...a big waste.

What’s notable is the amount of times he was disciplined in previous positions but still found his way to being chief of police in this town.

He died from the heroin and fentanyl, not the LSD. Too bad he didn’t take the LSD first because it’s a blocker. You can’t get high or drunk while you’re on LSD, but perhaps heroin could get through and still kill. At any rate, I suspect he just had all those drugs in his house, but only took one of them and overdosed.

Hughes had a checkered past that included allegations of a relationship with a woman who served time at the Fairfield County Jail in Ohio while he worked for the county sheriff’s office.

He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor in a June 2, 2013, incident during he used racial slurs and spit at a worker in the drive-through window at a fast-foot restaurant in Whitehall, Ohio, according to USA Today.

Wonder how many innocent people have records or are currently in jail because of this moron.
