Crimes by State - FBI Crime Stats

All the spin and madness that ignores fact and push prejudice, do nothing but put their ignorance on front and center stage.

Now for any spewing prejudiced ignorance, go tell the FBI they are wrong and see how that works out.
"*Of adults arrested for murder, 52.0 percent were Black or African American, 45.4 percent were White, and 2.6 percent were of other races. 52 % of murders were committed by blacks and they are about 13% of the population!!!!!!

Maybe the gang bangers will eventually kill themselves out.

Chicago is a major transportation hub in the US. Trains, planes, trucks and cars make it an ideal hub for narcotic distribution. Black gangs handle the retail end of the operation.

Used to be CPD was able to broker a semblance of peace among gangs. Imprionment and death of gang leaders caused gangs to splinter. There is no longer centralized leadership.
Yep, the war on drugs is the root cause of all of this violence, there is so much money to be made, violence is going to happen as a result.

The drug cartels, street dealers and criminals DO NOT want drugs to be legalized, this would destroy the whole industry.

Straw purchasers.

CPD lifted more than 8000 unlicensed/ unpermitted guns off the streets last year. Most were in the 5 most violent districts. FBI has an operation in place to trace ownership.

No shortage of people legally buy guns in Indiana and then report them lost/ stolen. Rinse and repeat.

Gun trafficking from Indiana is big business.

As I said, the claims that Chicago is nothing but a crime ridden cesspool are a bore & a lie. Try visiting somewhere before making outlandish claims. It also helps if you have friends who actually live there who can give a better picture of the city than some yahoo keyboard commando.

Except it isn't just thugs killing each other, innocent people get caught in the crossfire as well.

David Hoggs is a young teenagers, attacking him means nothing, they are part of "the future" and they will not carry forth the "ignorance of the past", they will make a world that better suits them as young people who will dominate the future.
Fact is Fact, many of the Baby Boomers and their first generation of offspring will by the fact of life mostly be gone in 20 -30 yrs and these young kids will only be in their 40's, and they will have made for themselves a world far removed from that of the past, that exist today.

Many of us will not be around to see or know it.
Ah, I did not know that about BLM. They only think the life of a black person is valuable if a cop pulls the trigger. Interesting. Have they gone after any black cops? Be curious if that has happened.

Hogg is a useful idiot. If he actually cared about saving people from gun violence he would be in Chicago every weekend. He's not. He's being used.

As to Political Corruption, is in every element of the political system. The biggest dent we can make to curb it, is to create Federal and State Campaign Financing and Strict Term Limits. Next, the Voting Public needs to be more Educated in Civics and not rely on "TV based commercial advertisement, or right or left political drama gaming, and actually "learn the facts" before they choose someone to represent those facts and support the facts.

As scary as we may think urban crime is, the threats that are prevalent in rural areas are statistically more dangerous.

Urban and Rural Crime

City and Suburban Crime Trends in Metropolitan America

Every level of our system is rife with someone willing to pay some level of politician or some level of law enforcement to look the other way.

Its OUR JOB as citizens to be CAREFUL who we elect, and whom is appointed by those we elect. Financial Monitoring should be done for ANYONE in the Political arena for no less than 10 yrs. And then be on guard for any "delayed payments that come in windfall amounts" for the next 20 yrs. (We have the computing power today, to monitor it with minimal cost to do so.) Public Service should not be a Profit Game during office or after one has served a term in public office.)

When we are as people (Citizens of America) ready to be "responsible" then we will get a better system if that is what we claim to want. If not... expect more of the same.
