An absolutely brilliant question! Because we all know republicans are in the habit of beating anyone who places republican signs or engages in republican campaigns.
He was beaten due to being an immigrant, not due to placing signs. There was no mention of the signs or politics when he was beaten. But he was told to "go back to your country".
It was a hate crime based on his country of origin.

a) you're making an assumption that the offenders can read
b) They sort of DO have a history of beating people who are of a different color and being anti-immigrant.

Looks as though someone else is making assumptions as well, hmmm?
And you know he was attacked for this reason, how?

"Go back to your own country" is not something left leaning people usually say.
It's always entertaining to watch the desperate leftist fanatics gallop around looking for ANY excuse they can find (or invent out of thin air) to pretend the obvious isn't obvious... to them.
