What if the government offered some policy or program that you don't yet have that would benefit you directly? What would it be? For the sake of argument let's agree that this program will succeed and do what it was designed to do, without fail, and it will be permanent.

What would you pay higher taxes for?

Nothing. Fulfilling wants and needs is what the private marketplace is for.

Nothing. I don't trade liberty for security if I have any say in it.

Now, if you want to ask what I would pay LOWER taxes (on a federal level) for, it would be this: military, and *maybe* a couple other things. That's it.

I would gladly pay taxes for bank bailouts, because eventually some of that wealth will trickle down to me, as an average citizen.

Medicare for all. I need a car but I have to pay for auto insurance. We all need health insurance it's a necessity not a luxury we need to pay for it. Stop with the corporate welfare and help pay for Medicare for all. Companies will save because they won't have to pay the premiums they do not. Doctors will save with single payer too.

We also need to control drug prices from large pharmaceutical companies and stop advertising. They spend more on advertising than on research. The doctor tells me what I need not the other way around.
