1. That the U.S. has intentionally started/created wars with other countries due to power and/or profit motives alone
2. That Franklin D. Roosevelt had advance knowledge of the Pearl Harbor attack but allowed it to happen
3. That the U.S. covered up an alleged Roswell extraterrestrial crash and/or other extraterrestrial encounters
4. That the John F. Kennedy assassination was the result of a conspiracy and not just one man acting alone
5. That men did not land on the moon in 1969
6. That there is a current and active plot among some people in government to make the U.S. something other than what the "founding fathers" intended (Fascist, Socialist, Communist, whatever)
7. That the public school system and/or the mass media are actively and intentionally "dumbing down" many Americans
8. That both the government and the mass media have suppressed the truth about 9/11
9. That the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting either did not happen or was a false flag event
10. That there is a goal to greatly depopulate the world and possibly enslave much of remaining population (Agenda 21/Agenda 2030)

(I personally think that four of the above conspiracy theories are probably or actually true.)

Thanks in advance.

P.S. And, again, it is NOT my intention to start a debate on any of the above theories.
2 & 4 have been studied to death by historians and are certainly not true.
1 is to vaguely stated to answer yes or no.

Only 6 and 7 are viable IMO, and with 6 the question becomes how effective are these plotters?

You missed big conspiracy theory that many people believe.

Satan is controlling the world.

How could you even call #6 a conspiracy theory?

Anyone who pays any attention at all can see that's been happening for decades......or longer.

1. That the U.S. has intentionally started/created wars with other countries due to power and/or profit motives alone True, though the number of wars actually started by the US is rather minimal. There have been a ton of interventions in foreign markets driven by profit
2. That Franklin D. Roosevelt had advance knowledge of the Pearl Harbor attack but allowed it to happenUnlikely
3. That the U.S. covered up an alleged Roswell extraterrestrial crash and/or other extraterrestrial encounters False. There have been no credible sources proving that aliens have ever visited Earth
4. That the John F. Kennedy assassination was the result of a conspiracy and not just one man acting alone Possibly
5. That men did not land on the moon in 1969 Absolutely False. There have been six Moon landings in total.
6. That there is a current and active plot among some people in government to make the U.S. something other than what the "founding fathers" intended (Fascist, Socialist, Communist, whatever) Debatable as to what that really means. Since the dawn of time, those in power have done what is necessary to maintain hegemony.
7. That the public school system and/or the mass media are actively and intentionally "dumbing down" many Americans Not intentional, though it does appear to be the case sometimes. The US mindset is quite insular at times, which limits the amount of coverage global events should receive. That's partly driven by the huge size of the domestic market as well. See Russia, China...
8. That both the government and the mass media have suppressed the truth about 9/11 That's a tricky question. There have been a good number of conspiracy theories that have been floated over the years. None with any solid traction. The official theory is rather soundproof as far as the science goes. Its highly unlikely that the government was aware of an incoming attack, but it was likely negligent.
9. That the 2012 Sandy Hook shooting either did not happen or was a false flag event Absolutely False. This one along with the Moon Landing one are beyond ridiculous
10. That there is a goal to greatly depopulate the world and possibly enslave much of remaining population (Agenda 21/Agenda 2030) I doubt there's an active policy in place to try and achieve this goal, but a number of prominent individuals have expressed concern over population growth.

(I personally think that four of the above conspiracy theories are probably or actually true.)

Thanks in advance.

My answers are bolded above. I have a couple of other ones I'd like to throw out.

11. Titanic/Olympic switch (there are several other theories, but I'm picking the most popular one): One version is that the sunken ship was actually the Olympic, near-identical sister-ship of the Titanic, which was the subject of a large insurance claim, and that the two vessels were secretly switched before the voyage. [From Wikipedia]

12. Ancient Astronaut theory: Most prominently used to explain the construction of the Great Pyramids, but there are other events as well.

13. Bermuda Triangle theories: Again there are many of them thrown around.

14. Loch Ness Monster

I know that the TC had a certain theme with his list, which I'm breaking, but I'd like to hear people's thoughts.

The only one that really qualifies as a conspiracy, I think, is the Titanic-Olympic switch, which I think has about a 50/50 chance (maybe less) of being true.

I do think the Ancient Astronaut MIGHT very well be true, I think there is a scientific explanation for the events of the Bermuda Triangle, and I think the chance of there being a Loch Ness monster is slightly less than 50%.

What he did not know, just like Bush, was where, when and how that attack would occur. It's certainly misleading to suggest that he knew Pearl Harbor was going to happen on 12/7/1941, but it probably is fair to say that he had a pretty good idea that the Japanese would attack US forces somewhere at some time in late 1941 to early 1942.
I agree with Stremba. I also believe that JFK assassination, not necessarily a conspiracy, was done by Oswald and another person as backup.

Area 51 is a site where they test experimental aircraft, nothing more. It may have been used in the past to store or research alien materials, but not for a long time, its too well known nowadays.

Besides that, they already disclosed where the real R&D goes on with this kind of thing, Bigelow Aerospace, Im sure there are other sites too.

Doesn't that fit the definition of a conspiracy?

P.S. THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE ANSWERED SO FAR. (Btw, I am now giving myself permission, lol, to reply to individual posts.)

1. We sometimes get into wars because of the political cowardice of those that we elect.
2. We thought that the attack would come in the Philippines. At Pearl our battleships would have been rotated out to sea.
3. No. We may never exceed the speed of light and the aliens can't either.
4. It was the act of one man.
5. We did land on the moon with heavy computers that have less processing power than my cell phone.
6. Corporations are already running the government through lobbyists.
7. Mass media distracts us with sex and racism.
8. No. But that stupid look on Bush's face will be on my mind forever.
9. Kids are bullied all of the time. Now they are reacting with the family gun.
10. Eventually that will happen all by itself. The very rich will just be better prepared for it.
