Hope she wins as California’s Democratic Party is going further to the left and towards socialism / anti business. I have posted many examples recently of new taxes being proposed on California businesses /job creators and housing providers/landlords .

She is a smart , successful entrepreneur and we definitely need people like her in government .

Looks like she is doing pretty well . Considering her family came from Cambodian I imagine they don’t have a great opinion of socialism ...

Clueless liberals are probably wondering how a minority immigrant could be a conservative though ..

——
In the central San Joaquin Valley, 32-year-old Stanford grad Elizabeth Heng is standing up for conservative values against an entrenched Democratic incumbent.

Heng’s parents immigrated to the United States to escape violence in Cambodia. About a decade ago, after she graduated from Stanford University, where she had served as student-body president, she returned to the Central Valley and opened a series of cell-phone stores with her brothers. Eventually, she found herself responsible for managing about 75 employees. “That was when I saw firsthand how government regulations impacted businesses negatively,” she says. “I constantly felt that from Washington, D.C., and Sacramento, they were saying that I was everything wrong with our country, when all I was doing was creating jobs.”

They really think minorities are a monolith who should all support Democrats despite our individual life experiences. I personally am the son of LEGAL immigrants from China and Taiwan, and I don't see how I'm supposed to identify with the illegal alien/DACA experience. I see myself our family as more akin to the Irish and Italian immigrants who came legally through Ellis Island generations ago. I'm also a Christian and my religion is very important to me and determines a lot of my political views particularly on abortion (I do want Roe vs Wade repealed) and supporting Israel. I'm also lived in several communities that have been decimated by unfair international trade and the war on coal and by illegal immigration and drug violence. In fact I spend a lot of my life near Baltimore where you see first hand now what happens when the liberal media, Obama and BLM make the police afraid to do their jobs.

Her campaign ad

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GUJXqJ4f_to

She finished just 6 points below her Democratic opponent .
He’s been in 14 years and the Fresno area and Central Valley is still struggling with high unemployment, vacant businesses

She did an interview here , interestingly she used to be a Democrat but she walked away from the party . She woke up

Yes it’s unfortunate why do they think immigrants or minorities should all vote one way ?

Then they try to shame people into voting for Democrats even if it’s against their interest or values.

Hopefully this woman wins and inspires more to walk away . She seems like she has a lot of common sense versus her socialist leaning millennial peers on the Democratic side .

Her family is a hard working entrepreneur family that came with nothing but worked hard and didn’t look for handouts . It’s an inspiring American Dream story .
She also built a business with her brothers that now employs 900 people .

Yeah I don’t think she’ll cater to NIMBYS. I haven’t been to Fresno but it looks like it’s in desperate need of more development ... lots of empty buildings and stuff it seems . They need to attract more businesses to the area .

The campaign ad above (I believe it is the same one) was just BANNED on FACEBOOK The excuse being that it showed too much "graphic violence."

They banned the ad of an Asian woman who was president of her class at Stanford (given a full scholarship), got an MBA from Yale.... because she is conservative. Here is the banned ad - just in case:

Yes I saw her tweet about that . It’s nuts ! I mean her family actually lived through those horrible times in Cambodia . I hope she wins . The area she lives in has been distressed and stagnant for way too long .
Sad part is if she was a “Democratic Socialist” preaching socialism the media would be covering her non stop since she’s a young minority .

I really think her story is inspiring . We need leaders like her in this country .

American Thinker just did an article on Facebook’s ban of her ad

This is just on example of the disturbing trend of liberal run social media corporations silencing and censoring those that have a different political view than them .

Communists have always sought to cover up the crimes of communism. It started in Ukraine in the 1930s, when New York Times commie-symp reporter Walter Duranty covered up the man-made mass starvation in that part of the Soviet Union, and it's continued today in Venezuela with dictator Nicolás Maduro forbidding photos of empty store shelves and refusing to permit aid to the country's starving people, for fear of the truth getting out. National Socialists are at least as zealous in seeking to cover up the truth about their Holocaust against the Jews.

So I stare, appalled, as Facebook has been caught censoring the images of the Cambodian holocaust presented by GOP congressional candidate Elizabeth Heng of the Central Valley in a video that can be seen here.

The sad irony here is that Elizabeth Heng is the daughter of refugee parents. The same conservatives throwing their weight behind her want to close the door to people from similar circumstances.

If her parents came as Syrians or Haitians today, Trump supporters would tell them to go home.
