The best way to figure out if it's a bot or if it is a victim of a bot (and we have FAR more victims here than actual bots I believe) is to look at the subject matter than gets pushed out (usually early morning). There's a general pattern to it. Then go over to the Hamilton68 website and see if it matches what the bots are pushing. Often you will find it does. You will be interested to note that the bots don't post all day and all night long (that's usually the retirees). Bots have a time and day pattern that is also listed on Hamilton 68.
Thanks for mentioning Hamilton 68. Russia loving America hating Trump supporters must be tracked while we still can.

Sounds like someone would like a Stalinesque purge of those who disagree with them.

It's one of their most effective tactics and putin/Moscow couldn't be more pleased.
On another forum I visit, there's suddenly a bunch of particularly obnoxious right wing newbies. Some tactics they employ is a persistent and constant denial of facts when presented and a twisting of words in responses they receive including logical fallacy. They go on my ignore list very quickly but these Russkie trolls and bot do indeed permeate the online forums.

We are not a news organization, nor an academic institution. People are entitled to their opinions and are NOT required to provide proof that they are correct in their inferences or conclusions. It is beholden on those who think everyone reading a post needs to know a poster is spouting nonsense to provide proof that the post is wrong, not the other way around. Clearly, everyone posting on here or reading posts on here has access to the internet and search engines, therefore they can do their own research.

No one is required to provide proof. Other than journalist or others employed in some compacity to communicate facts it is no one’s job to back up what they write. In other words, no one posting on this forum.

This. You are a racist, or a bigot, or a Russian operative if you do not agree to be bullied and submit yourself to the Democrat left's "Political correctness" regime. The name-calling, personal attacks and harassment campaigns by these people are virtually non-stop these days.

How is the effect of this thread different from what Russian bots are routinely accused of doing?

Of course not required. But if you want anyone to take your opinions seriously, you should show where your info is coming from.

No one is required to provide proof.

Your position on who shares the burden of proof is just that - your opinion.

In reality, anyone making a claim ABSOLUTELY CAN BE ASKED TO PROVIDED SOURCES AND TO SHOW THEIR WORK.

And people should be able to demand proof without being called Russian bots.
