Will not help, your original point flew so far over that posters head, they'll never understand what you attempted to ask, hence their response...

Because guns.

I really think this isn't a huge deal. I think that the teacher (a male, btw) knew EXACTLY what those shotgun shells were on that shirt. I looked at a photo of it, it's pretty easy if you ever saw a shotgun shell, to tell that those are what were on these shirts.

I'm not clear on why the school cleared those shirts to be worn on campus, given the crops of school shootings over the past few years.

Let's send them a shirt to really mess with the fragile teachers.

This one would really get a reaction.

Because upsetting public school teachers is a "cool" thing to do. Really?

I wonder if the teacher was more offended by the shotgun shells or the American flag design. It isn't politically correct to show patriotism nowadays.

Yes really. They should have no business spreading manufactured fear.
If they're hysterical and emotionally unstable to raise hell over a Tee shirt, they have no business indoctrinating, I mean educating kids.

When their colleagues at other schools have been gunned down by school shooters?

They are smart to be concerned about kids who'd show up wearing the types of shirts that poster linked to.
