Scary times. Public schools are now kicking kids out for supporting their constitutional rights. The school admits that the shirts did not violate the dress code policy.

The Daily Mail features yellow journalism the way a liver transplant patient features jaundice.

However, from your link:

Two teens were singled out in history class at Lodi High School on Friday for wearing shirts that promoted the National Rifle Association, one mother said.

The T-shirts featured an American flag design made out of shotgun shell casings.

First of all, I thought you guys were all about respecting the flag. If a kid wore a T-shirt to school featuring a design made out of peace symbols, would you still be so outraged?

Second of all, can't you see that wearing a T-shirt covered with shotgun shell casings to your HIGH SCHOOL just might be considered a tad provocative given the epidemic of school shootings in this country?

Oh, wait! Those shootings were all faked just like the one at Newtown was. Never mind.

Kicked out of History class of all things?

Guns and the Rights of American citizens are the reason we have an America in the first place.

What is wrong with these Lefty Liberals that would rather toss out and ban what they deem uncomfortable, shocking, hateful? instead of using it to create a debate that the kids might be able to learn something from?

Oh yeah they don't want the kids thinking for themselves especially in California.

School policy: No clothing depicting weapons.

What students should do: Not wear clothing depicting weapons.

What these students did: Wore clothing depicting weapons.

they were improperly kicked out of class. from the article;

Quote:
Lodi Unified School District said it reviewed the shirts and the school dress code, and determined the tops were not in violation of school rules

so the tops were not in violation of school rules, which means the teacher was in the wrong.
