Honestly if it wasnt for all the GOP bleating about her, I would have no idea who she is.

With the exceptions of abolishing ICE and a weapons ban most of this sounds good. I think a lot of people would support a majority of these.

If these two want to debate people, they should throw their hats in the ring and run for public office.

Are they offering to debate other political candidates?

Don't just sit on the sidelines, run for an office. We'll see how well your ideas hold up then.

Ocasio Cortez could just as easily get a Chatty Cathy doll to debate.

One where you pull the string and it regurgitates some right wing talking point. It'd be about the same thing as debating Candace Owens.

Kirk tweeted that he has a group of donors who will contribute $100,000 to a charity of Ocasio-Cortez's choosing if she will debate Owens, who serves as communication director for Turning Point USA.

Debate her to what purpose?

Is Candace Owens running in her district?

Why should Ms Ocasio-Cortez validate this proposed dog-and pony show?
So that this organization can further spout their propaganda?

Ridiculous.

Well they could not have been making it more obvious that they got their marching orders via mass emails as these threads on Ocasio-Cortez are all over internet forums.

Yeah, I'd forgotten about that one (and odanny was right in his reply to you...you brought up the original).

'Long ago' (but after 2008) I was reading or listening to an interview with Nicolle Wallace (MSNBC host, novelist, comm. director in the Bush 43 White House, and McCain 2008 campaign adviser) and the interviewer referred to the family as 'The Wasilla Hillbillies', so whenever I'm reminded of the Palins that comes to mind rather than Caribou Barbie .
