so you might want to actually read up on the reasons for the tariffs, and the history behind them. i will also note that the smoot-hawley act was put in place before world war two to try and protect the american economy, but they only pushed the depression further. and while it was hoover that signed that act, it was in fact FDR, and massive socialist, that used the act even during wartime.

Cortez is going to have to learn what socialism is before she can debate it.

If people want it to be the role of government then the role of government it will be. There's broad support for a few of these things like Medicare for all. It's just a matter of time before we get it. It's the right thing to do for the citizens of this country.

Pennsylvania is dying because of extreme corporate capitalism and state imperialism. They turned to Trump because they hate politicians, not because the Republican Party is winning them over.

Same with the right, they are totally clueless, off base, and hysterical about what "socialism" is.

How, specifically, would you suggest we fund that?

The same way every other civilized country in the world funds it. It's not rocket surgery.

Wealthy orgs reasonably assume they can just buy a politician's time, but AOC is a current media darling. Her time is not that cheap. They may need Pat Robertson's hustle muscle to raise a million.

LMAO, the only one who is scared is Cortez because you and her both know that Owens/Shapiro would stomp her in a debate. Like her you are not honest enough to admit it but deep down you know it's true.

Oh I see since neither is a politician that is a excuse for Cortez not to debate. If her ideas are that strong she should jump at the chance to defend them. I doubt Shapiro/Ownes can get in the race since they do not live in the district. It is clear as day she is scared.
