Listen - I was an employer of note in the 1980's and 1990's. Even at that point the black candidate didn't have the shot as a white one...in relatively progressive areas. You can be certain this was true and measurable.

Also, the further you go back, the more true it was - so if mom and dad didn't have a good job, it's less likely their children will...and their grandchildren. It take generations to rid ourselves of a problem that took 100's of years (and 15 generations or so) to create.

I wish the world turned on a dime....but it doesn't. Wasn't a large portion (about 1/2) of the population against that "black POTUS"??? Aren't about 40% for a POTUS now who is clearly white supremacist??
Lol because they might of been against his policies it makes them racist ?

Clearly white supremacist ?? Post a Trump quote where he said whites are superior to blacks . Bunch of nonsense . We’ll be waiting ....

Which was pushed by Obama, the Bushes and Clintons .

Would of been a lot worse under Hillary . Trump is actually trying to do something about it .

I don't think he has accused whites of being racists, bigots, murderers, rapists, terrorists, etc...
In fact, he seems to be "for" white people committing criminal and treasonous acts and stands ready to pardon them if they are convicted of such.

We all see and hear the dog whistles. Good people on both sides of a Nazi rally.

How many of us have Dads who were arrested at KKK rallies? All coincidence...yeah, I know!

POTUS being picked by the SCOTUS....

Lots of other stuff - but Trump didn't ruin it. He's just pushing the cart harder down the hill.

The decline started well before Reagan...

Illegal....that is the key word that both the OP and the people that write the hate propaganda seem to forget.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

NOR is offering them cheap plans that do not cover the basics or those conditions. The current skinny offering do not cover Pregnancies for "Your Imaginary Friend's sake. That is Not the American dream, it is criminal.

Health care should be non profit and Every legal citizen or resident should be covered. When a Clerk on a phone can decide whether or not one get's service is a travesty.

And honestly, if anyone does not believe this in their gut, they are simply mean and self centered or just plain ignorant. Just wait till YOU need it and can't get it, you will see. and BTW, you all WILL need it at some point.
No worries. Trump campaigned on the promise “ to replace Obamacare with something wonderful that would take care of everybody and the government is going to pay for it”.

Shortly after the inauguration Trump stated “ Who knew healthcare was so complicated?” Obviously Trump did not.

All insurance is regulated by each state and no two states have the same regulations. The ACA creates a baseline of Essential Services. After that, it’s up to each state. One state requires insurers to cover medication ABC while another state does not. Who cares unless you need the medication?

No Federal Law prevents insurance from being sold across state line. A few states allow it. Thus far, no takers.
Premiums are dependent on many factors. An insurer’s network of PPO providers is one of the factors. If an out of state insurer does not have a network, claims are paid on an out of network basis with the insured pucking up the difference.

The only way healthcare is affordable for everyone is if it’s free and there is no such thing as a free lunch and all that. It has to be paid for.

There is an acute lack of personal responsibility as it relates to health in the US, given 75% of us are overweight/ obese. These lifestyle choices make us more vulnerable to Diabetes, Heart Disease, Stroke, some Cancers and joint deterioration. The average cost to treat Diabetes and ensuing complication is greater than any annual healthcare premium. 20 Million people have been diagnosed with Diabetes and as many are undiagnosed or pre- diabetic.

Given the lack of personal responsibility it’s no wonder the US spends more on healthcare per capital than the rest of the world.
