Look it up. You will be amazed at what they do and scratch your head why Trump would call them thugs.
I agree. It's a shame that they wouldn't google it, because it would destroy their feeble attempts at making it seem like all they do in the off season is "thug" stuff.
I have no issue with athletes exercising their first amendment rights on their own time, just not mine. They have 365 days a year and out of all those days, all those hours, they can only make their statement during the 48 average hours of game time? Seriously?
Seriously? Not one minute, not one second of game time is taken up by these protests. Seriously. You need to find yet another reason to be offended, this one holds no water.

Game day. Game time to me is when they start televising the game. Of course you knew that is what I meant.
Now be honest. The only reason you even care is because some have made this about Trump. If those Athletes were using that time to protest abortions, or any other topic the left supports you would be all up in arms over it.
Sure, going after people is what freedom is all about
So protest using people's time, and money against their will is OK, but not supporting advertisers (big business) due to political views is not OK? Hypocrisy and utter dishonesty.
I knew what you meant? No, what you said was wrong. Admit it.
Now, you be honest. Do these protests actually take away from you enjoyment of the game of football? If you say yes then you are not a pro football fan. And that is ok. But if anything before or after those 60 minutes of game time lessens your enjoyment of the game then the game is better without you. Honestly.

What time and what money? There is no delay of game penalty going on here. No disruption of time whatsoever. I think you need another reason, this one holds no water.
The ridiculous of these faux Americans. Their reasoning gets stupider and stupider every time. Americans are getting killed by the state with impunity. Which is about as unpatriotic as it gets. And these people chose "patriotism" as their rallying cry? GTFOH.
All some are doing is showing how truly unpatriotic they are.
What I love about this whole kneeling/fist debate... is that it is really only a problem because it is being aired. If it wasn't aired, who would care? Why is it aired? So the NFL, Fox, CBS, etc can make money through advertisers. Otherwise, they'd just start the coverage with a coin flip.
We only see the players' reaction to the anthem because of pre-game coverage. That coverage is designed to... make money. No pre-game coverage, no controversy. I couldn't tell you the last time I've watched a sporting event and caught the anthem being played? Why? Because I tend to tune in when the game ACTUALLY starts. Kickoff at 4:10? I tune in at 4:10. Maybe I catch the coinflip. First pitch @ 1:35? I tune in for that.
