No much light in this debate, just heat, but it's worth watching to see how Candace handles it. When the liberal host and professor team up to try to flim-flam her, she never backs down, and never gives in. The professor is Michael Eric Dyson, and the host is Ari Melber.
Host asks Candace the first question. She answers, and is cut off after about 50 seconds. Then the host turns to the professor. Prof goes on a bloviation run for over 2 minutes. Candace tries to get a word in edgewise. The host shuts her down, and the prof continues bloviating for another 35 seconds. Candace finally gets another chance then.
The host cuts her off after a minute, and tries to give the floor back to the prof. Candace is having none of it. She makes her point, and then back to the prof. for more bloviation. When Candace responds, the prof whines 'Ari, can I finish my point?' You can literally hear the whining tone in his voice. He's starting to get flustered. The show ends with all three of them talking over each other.
The prof, clearly having come totally undone, signs off saying "Bless your heart little girl." HAHAHA--he had to issue an apology over that one, because he violated his own PC liberal code. She eviscerated him, and with a porker like this prof, that takes some doing.
What I love about this is that the prof came so unglued that he called her a 'little girl' and then had to apologize. We don't have many in the conservative movement able to pull off something like that.
I only watched 5 minutes but she was clearly the most articulate and well spoken person there. She did a great job of making her point succinctly which clearly the professor wasn't trying to do. I didn't agree with everything that she said but she came across very well and made some excellent points.
pfftt……….All she did was try and talk over everybody else.
