The black civil rights movement was began over 100 years ago by upper class blacks who were dissatisfied that they were not being treated the same as their white counterparts. Today the white civil rights movement is poor whites who want the same rights as poor ... blacks? Weird

The fact is "they feel something in their gut" - something they should have known generations ago when they were being abused by the Coal and Land and Timber barons. But they never learned. Now they realize the world has left them behind - due to their own ignorance.

Using the same argument, a lot of liberals are poor and minorities are low income, uneducated, single family/divorced dependent on handouts.

Again, I understand what you're trying to say but you're essentially using a study showing their poor, uneducated etc. to paint them further as "losers".
We already know they're scum even if they're fantastically wealthy wish we could leave it at that.
The ones I know of in my area are educated, spoiled brats who have plenty of time and money for leisure and travel.
