Agreed! That's been the many on the left's narrative lately....state something as a fact and then refuse to back up the claim...then when asked, they say to google it....

Seriously?

Clearly "mathguy" either can't read, is lying, or simply just ran with someone else's lies. Gullible.

Trump leg humpers like yourselves need to grow the heck up!

With GOP blocking the efforts to beef up election security, and Dems not having the votes, it seems our law-makers have chosen to allow Russians to decide the results of the elections.

The very first and most important thing about computing system security.

RESTRICT PHYSICAL ACCESS.

It is game over once the person has physical access to the system.

Duh!

https://csrc.nist.gov/CSRC/media/Eve...secpaper05.pdf

"It should be very clear that compromised physical security always
means that all security layers have been compromised. All security
discussed in this solution is based on the assumption that physical
security has been addressed. Without physical security, no other
security measures can be considered effective
. "

There are systems out there that handle much more data and more sensitive data. Security is a living thing... it grows and learns. Systems need to be continuously updated to keep up.

An exercise against already dated equipment that lacks the learning (and blocking) of exploits pointless. Anyone can cross reference old exploits that have already been discovered against dated systems and follow instructions. Doesn't mean the person knows what they are doing.

The article has a tone of a luddite.
